There are two main types of traps used for capturing wolves and foxes. The humane cage trap, traps the animal in and cage to
be transported to a distant wooded area where it is then released. The in-humane trap is usually called a bear trap. A large metal claw with sharp teeth that snaps together when stepped on. Because they are made out of heavy iron, the animal cannot move, and therefore is stranded,
unable to move, by the large clasp around the ankle.
